• Insulate your building, using caulking and weatherstripping, to keep cold air from reaching wall cavities such as crawl spaces, roof spaces/ceilings, and basements.
• Cover pipes with insulated wrapping or sleeves.
• Drip water from faucets during extreme freezing weather conditions, to keep the water circulating.
• Have a back up power/heating source to keep inside temperatures above freezing.
