Charlottesville Makes Storm Damage “Like it never even happened.” Call Us at 434-977-5850.
Charlottesville and surrounding areas have endured enough major storms this year to fulfill any reasonable quota of damage, but it’s only August. We recently endured a tropical storm that damaged several area residences; fortunately, our Charlottesville techs were able to arrive quickly enough to prevent more severe damage. We removed water and debris, and dried/dehumidified the homes. We also provided other services such as:
- Cleaned carpets and upholstery
- Remediate property from water and mold damage:
- Furniture
- Walls
- Floors
- Ceiling
- Keepsakes
- Got rid of the odors
- Replaced shredded flooring
- Removed mud
- Cleaned and disinfected the property
- Eliminated lingering odors
Some of the homes suffered well-contained damage, but many had substantial flooding throughout the property. Despite receiving several calls, we were able to help every homeowner who called us. Call our teams at 434-977-5850 the next time torrential rain, hail, or other hazards threaten your property.
Weather trivia:
One recent storm was downgraded from hurricane to tropical storm before it hit our area. The categories are interesting to meteorologists, but they don’t make a difference to those who live with the damage. The lowest level of hurricane is “category 1,” which starts when the winds reach a sustained force of 73 mph. A tropical storm has sustained wind speeds of 30 to 73 mph. Because tropical storms – even heavy thunderstorms – can cause as much damage as a hurricane, our Charlottesville techs worry only about the results, not the category of storm.
