More Equipment has arrived to Charlottesville!

Over the past 2 weeks, the Charlottesville area has had below freezing temperatures and now that the temperature has gone back up we have received a lot of calls regarding water damage from frozen pipes that have busted.  With the high volume of calls that we have been receiving we have had to get more equipment brought in from our corporate office.  A whole 53' trailer full!

Florida & Virginia Teams Join Together

Due to the high volume of calls, not only have we had more equipment shipped to us but we have also had crew members from SERVPRO of Altamonte Springs come to help us.  This photo captures both crews working together loading up equipment getting ready to respond to more jobs.

Water Extraction in Progress

SERVPRO of Charlottesville has a wide variety of equipment for any size job. Whether it is a fire or a water damage, in your home or business, “We are Faster to Any Size Disaster.”

Reinforcements to Help During Hurricane Florence

There's something reassuring about a large green trailer full of extraction and drying equipment when a storm is getting closer. We brought in multiple trailers of auxiliary equipment as Hurricane Florence was coming closer. They were sent to our sister franchise, SERVPRO of Lynchburg. So that when the call came in, we could be here to help as many homes and businesses as possible.

We've Got All The Drying Equipment You Need

This is a prime example of why SERVPRO is Faster to Any Size Disaster.

In May of 2018, Charlottesville and surrounding areas had a mass amount of rainfall which caused us to receive an extreme amount of calls from homeowners and business owners with flood damage.  Within a few hours, all of our industrial strength water restoration equipment was in use.  But that did not stop us, with a quick phone call to our neighboring franchise, SERVPRO of Lynchburg, we had more equipment delivered to us within a few short hours.

This photo was taken at a business located here in Charlottesville after our crews had completed the water mitigation and all of the equipment needed was being prepped for re-loading in our vehicles.

Freeze Storm Causes Water Damage at Charlottesville Doctor's Office

Due to the extreme cold temperatures that Charlottesville experienced in January of 2018 SERVPRO of Charlottesville, as well as many other franchises in Virginia and West Virginia, experienced quite a high volume of calls and this doctors office here in Charlottesville was one of them.

Re-Loading The Equipment Trailer

As the January 2018 frozen pipe storm event begins to wind down, all of the additional equipment we had shipped in from our corporate office is making it's way back into the 53' trailer that it was delivered in.

This event that we experienced is a true testimony to why SERVPRO is Faster to Any Size Disaster.

The Frozen Pipe Storm Is Over

For the start of 2018 Charlottesville was hit was freezing temperatures which then spiked up to warmer weather.  This caused a lot of pipes to freeze and then bust which resulted in an extremely high volume of water damages.  The volume was so high our whole team had to work long hours for 2 weeks straight
